While you are here, make sure you experience some of the attractions below, whether you are a family with children, a young or a mature couple, or if you are travelling alone, bring your toys and come here and play! There is room for everyone!

Playground at Lowhee. Let your kids loose in our playground where they can meet new friends and have fun for hours.

Visit Historic Barkerville. Allow at least two days to see this charming site with live programs for the entire family.

Pioneer Tent Display. At our Lowhee campground we have put up a canvas mining tent. Welcome in!

Bird watching and wildlife viewing. You don't have to go far to see birdlife, and it is common to spot larger animals such as moose, deer, and maybe even a bear...

Bowron Lake Park. Only 1/2 hr drive to this spectacular provincial park. Rent a canoe, go for a swim or just enjoy the mountainous scenery.

Biking on backroads. Ride on one of the many backroads or trails starting right from the campground. Great scenery, great excersise.

Fishing lakes and rivers. Bring your fishing pole. You might catch a big rainbow, perhaps with the help of a fishing guide.

Boating and Rafting. Explore small lakes, rivers and creeks. Bring a rubber raft, a canoe or a small boat.

Mountain Hiking. Enjoy a day of hiking to the top of a nearby mountain. There are several trails to choose from.
